Houston Texans 3, Indianapolis Colts 25: Post-Game Reaction

Odds are this throw didn't end well. - Michael Hickey

The Houston Texans lost their twelfth game of the season, their twelfth game in a row, and their twelfth game straight in Indianapolis. All in all, a truly banner day.

What can I even say? To say that your Houston Texans just laid an egg in Indianapolis would be giving eggs a bad name. At no point today did the Texans even resemble a team of professional football players. They were awful in every phase of the game. They continued to amass penalties at a mind-blowing rate and generally appeared as though they didn't belong on the same field as the Colts.

Case Keenum looked like he was pulled out of the stands five minutes before kickoff to start at quarterback. Calling his performance "hapless" is the understatement of the year. To be fair, he got no help from his offensive line, where Derek Newton in particular strives to establish new lows each week. The only good thing I can say about the offense's performance is that no one got hurt.

The defense? Might as well have stayed in Houston. They can't tackle. They can't cover. They look like Frank Bush is their coordinator. The only good thing I can say about the defense's performance is that no one got hurt.

Special teams? Not good. As bad as the offense and defense? Perhaps not, but I may just be giving them some no-Joe-Marciano shine. The only really good thing I can say about Houston's special teams is that no one got hurt.

Your Houston Texans are now 2-12. They have lost twelve straight, and they still have never beaten the Colts in Indianapolis. If there's a worse football team in the NFL this year, I haven't seen it.

React, if you have the energy, in the Comments below. If watching this disaster of a team has sapped you of the ability to muster outrage, I understand.
