Houston Texans To Attend Memorial Service For Four Fallen Houston Firefighters

Well done, Coach. Thank you. - Scott Halleran

Gary Kubiak gets it. He's moving the Texans' OTA session tomorrow so the entire team can attend the memorial service honoring the four local firefighters who died last week.

Last Friday, a monstrous five-alarm fire and subsequent roof collapse claimed the lives of four (4) Houston firefighters. Those four departed heroes will be honored at a memorial service at Reliant Stadium tomorrow morning, and Nick Scurfield reports that Gary Kubiak has decided all Houston Texans will be in attendance to pay their respects.

"It's very important to us," Kubiak said. "It means a lot to us to be there and show our support for the families and to the community."

Bravo, Kubes. Yet another reason you can and should be proud of being a fan of the Houston Texans.
