Trevardo Williams joins new Texans teammates

SportzEdge.com, the new site from WTNH, posted an article called, "Trevardo Williams joins new Texans teammates." The former UConn player spent four seasons with the Huskies and totaled 30.5 sacks, which is currently a school record. Williams was a first-team All-Big East Conference selection in 2012. Texans head Coach Gary Kubiak spoke highly of Williams' pass rushing ability in the video. Defensive coordinator Wade Phillips must be thrilled to add the rookie linebacker to a defense that finished in the top ten in 2012. The potential of Williams, combination with the production of J.J. Watt and newly acquired Super Bowl champion Ed Reed, makes the Texans a Super Bowl contender for the upcoming season.
