I just read an article in the Chronicle about DeAndre Hopkins. I copied part of the article below:
Hopkins' first football year also ignited early NFL talk. But a kid who couldn't decide between two sports also couldn't figure out what side of the field he should play on if he ever dropped basketball and devoted himself to football.
The Lions had a cornerback who captured 28 interceptions, a kickoff returner who blocked field goals, and a wide receiver who racked up 1,266 yards and 18 touchdowns during his last year at D.W. Daniel.
28 interception! Is that even possible? This guy is a freak! He also lead his HS basketball team to a state championship!
