Ex Texans teammates now teammates on reality show.

Former Houston Texans players Chester Pitts and Ephraim Salaam are going to be on The Amazing Race, which premieres on Sunday at 7:00 Central Time on CBS. They're not the only contestants who has sports connections. 2 LA Kings "Ice Crew Girls" and the wifes of 2 MLB players are also competing for the $1,000,000 prize. Pitts was picked in the 2002 draft in the second round. He remained with the team until 2009, starting every game from 2002-2008. He spent 1 year with the Seattle Seahawks before retiring. He is now a sports analyst for KPRC in Houston. Salaam

Ephraim Sallaam Played in the NFL from 1998-2010. He was drafted by the falcons in the 7th round and played with them until 2001, when he went to Denver and Jacksonville until he signed with the Texans in 2006. He signed with the Lions in 2008, but returned to the Texans in 2009. He retired after the 2010 season. Like his former teammate, he went into TV after retirement and is now an analyst on recently launched Fox Sports 1. Who's gonna watch The Amazing Race? I'm gonna watch now!
