It began a few years ago when the Ravens scooped up Vonta Leach as their new fullback. Then they took Jacoby Jones and did what Joe Marciano could not: They made him relevant. And now it appears the Ravens aren't done picking the bones of the old Texans' regime.
Multiple sources on Twitter are now confirming that former Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak will join the Baltimore Ravens staff as their new offensive coordinator.
Ravens will announce the hire of Gary Kubiak as offensive coordinator at 3 pm.

According to Adam Schefter, the plan in Baltimore is to bring in Kubiak, former Texans offensive coordinator Rick Dennison, and former Texans and Redskins offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan to quickly revamp the Ravens' offense in the wake of Jim Caldwell's departure.
The theory is that the same braintrust who helped turn the Texans' offensive woes around between 2006 and now will help the Ravens rebuild their offense, which ranked in the bottom third in total offensive yards and points scored in 2013.
I don't know about you, but I'm looking forward to the moment when Joe Flacco gets hurt and Kubiak insists to John Harbaugh that Matt Schaub is the answer to all his problems.
Oh, and did I mention that the Texans play the Ravens again next year? So get ready for the "Return of Kubiak" narrative right now.
