2014 NFL Draft: Merril Hoge On Johnny Manziel--"Bust Written All Over Him"

Soothsayer? Or moron?

ESPN analysts have developed a bit of a reputation for spouting contrarian opinions about popular athletes, and Merril Hoge is no exception. See what he had to say about Johnny Football yesterday afternoon.

ESPN’s Merril Hoge had strong words on the Wednesday edition of SportsCenter when talking about former Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel, saying:

"I see bust written all over him, especially if he’s drafted in the first round."

Mr. Hoge is not necessarily known for being an expert on what makes a good quarterback, but hey, blind squirrel and all that. What do you think, BRB? Has Merril Hoge done the impossible and been right about something, or is he still…well…Merril Hoge?
