Your Houston Texans have their final preseason game tonight. That means your projection of who'll make the team could change, so we'll give everyone an opportunity to revise their projection 53-man roster accordingly tomorrow morning.
It should also be noted that the 53 names on Houston's initial roster are virtually guaranteed to be different from the 53 names actually on the Texans' roster for the season opener on September 7th. That's due to the Texans' pole position on the waiver wire; you can be sure the team will be snatching up a handful or two of players who are cut by other NFL team on or before Saturday afternoon's deadline.
With those caveats, here's my guess at the Texans' first 53-man roster of the 2014 season.
QB (3)
Ryan Fitzpatrick
Case Keenum
Tom Savage
RB (3)
Arian Foster
Jonathan Grimes
Alfred Blue

Keshawn Martin
Mike Thomas
Travis Labhart
TE (3)
Garrett Graham
Ryan Griffin
C.J. Fiedorowicz
OT (4)
Duane Brown

Jeoffrey Pagan
DT (3)

ILB (5)

Mike Mohamed
Jeff Tarpinian
Justin Tuggle
Max Bullough
OLB (4)
Brooks Reed
Jadeveon Clowney
Whitney Mercilus
Quentin Groves
CB (6)
Johnathan Joseph
Kareem Jackson
A.J. Bouye

S (5)
D.J. Swearinger
Chris Clemons
Kendrick Lewis
Shiloh Keo
Eddie Pleasant
K (1)

Of those 53 names, I would expect Keenum, Clabo or Yeatman, Groves, Victorian, Mack, Keo, and Pleasant to be most likely to fall victim to roster churn/replacement once other teams have made their cuts.
What part of this projection do you disagree with? I encourage you to rattle off your best guess as to the initial roster in the Comments below as well.
