T.J. Yates brought back that old magic for the Texans. Maybe we can steal a smidge of that for our fantasy teams. Here is this week's rosters.

Brett:
I've ridden Derek Carr pretty heavily this season, and that will continue this week as his connection with Michael Crabtree continues to build steam. From that same game, I also really like Calvin Johnson against a pretty shaky Oakland secondary. A shootout in this one would be just lovely.
Elsewhere, with news of Julian Edelman missing the next six weeks with a broken foot, Danny Amendola should be a big target hog (hopefully) in that Patriots' offense. I also really like a possible double-up on the Chiefs with Charcandrick West and Travis Kelce both potentially taking advantage of the underwhelming group of linebackers on the Chargers. Devonta Freeman is the most expensive player on my list, but he is also the highest potential payoff with a very favorable matchup at home against the soft-ish Colts run defense.
On special teams, I'm going with two nice value options in Dan Bailey at kicker and the Jets' defense. Objectively speaking, I really don't think that a Texans offense with no run game and a backup quarterback should pose much of a threat to a defensive unit like New York's that is stacked with talent at every level.
Ryan:
I echo everything Brett said about Carr, West, and Amendola. Carr has found what his older brother had with Andre Johnson with rookie Amari Cooper. Cooper has been a stud, only raising the play of a solid Carr.
Where I veered from Brett is going cheap on running back. Charcandrick West has been a workhorse stepping in at running with Jamaal Charles out. Lamar Miller is facing a terrible run defense in Dallas, and the coaching staff has figured out they need to give him the ball more to balance the offense.
Richard Rodgers has been Aaron Rodgers' favorite red zone target a few times this season, I'll roll the dice with those odds. I'm continuing to go big on my top wide receiver based on the level of output Julio Jones has had this season. Larry Fitzgerald has had a resurgence, and I'm willing to take my chances with Adam Jones covering him.
