The second course of today’s triple NFC feast is up in the very heart of evil itself – Dallas Arlington, Texas. The undefeated Carolina Panthers come to town looking to continue their remarkable winning streak against the almost down-and-out Cowboys, who are still somehow only a couple of games out of the NFC East race. Tony Romo is finally back, as is Dez Bryant, and the ‘Boys are getting big contributions from their rookie trio of Byron Jones, Randy Gregory, and La’El Collins. Despite the differences in record, this has a chance to be a damn good football game.
On the other side of the ball is the indomitable Cam Newton, who has thrust himself firmly into the MVP discussion with a perfect 10-0 record despite being surrounded by a no-name receiving corps and an average (at best) offensive line. Also at Superman’s back is a very stubborn defense lead by Luke Kuechly, Thomas Davis, and Josh Norman. I don’t know about y’all, but I see Norman vs. Bryant as one of the very best individual battles of the season. That should be a doozy.
Consider this your open thread for Panthers at Cowboys. Happy Thanksgiving!
