While we're all dressed and ready to go (some of us are even wearing pants!), current NFL rules only allow the Texans and Saints to dress 46 players each for today's match-up.
If you were to look at the Texans' most recent game status report, you might be a little alarmed. There are 16 players listed on the injury report, but at this point in the season we could probably list 53 players as having boo-boos. Luckily all 16 players are listed as probable.
The Saints, meanwhile, have already named three defenders out for the game. Dannell Ellerbe (hip), David Hawthorne (thigh), and Damian Swann (concussion) were listed as out due to their respective injuries.
Texans Inactives:
- T Oday Aboushi (XSF performing better)
- CB A.J. Bouye (concussion)
- TE Garrett Graham (coach's indifference)
- FS Rahim Moore (coach's indifference)
- DE Jeoffrey Pagan (coach's indifference)
- WR Jaelen Strong (coach's indifference)
- QB Brandon Weeden (coach's indifference or recognition that he's terrible)
Saints Inactives:
- LB Dannell Ellerbe (hip)
- DT Kaleb Eulls
- QB Garrett Grayson
- LB David Hawthorne (thigh)
- DE Phillip Hunt
- G Mike McGlynn
- CB Daniel Swann (concussion)
