Clabo signed with the Texans about this time last year for $2.4 million contract over two years. Prior to that, Clabo spent time with the Dolphins and Falcons, starting every game he appeared in - 116 starts dating back to 2006.
With the Texans, Clabo was a part of the offensive line rotation in 2014. He did start two preseason games for the Texans. When it came to the games that count, Clabo appeared in all 16 regular season games in 2014 without but didn't make a start.
Houston didn't select a tackle in the 2015 NFL Draft this past month. That leaves Duane Brown at left tackle, Derek Newton at right tackle, and Jeff Adams on the bench on the Texans' current official depth chart.
