Rookie third round pick Brennan Williams has still not been cleared for activity after an injury on May 11th. No surgery was required, but Williams is now expected to be out until training camp begins in late July. David Quessenberry, the floor is yours.
The carousel of offseason surgeries continues with our star left tackle having some bone spurs removed from his ankle. At least it wasn't kept a secret this time. I believe Tania Ganguli was the first to report it. Duane Brown is having surgery this morning to shave a bone spur. #Texans— Tania Ganguli (@taniaganguli) June 5, 2013
A great article by Chris Baldwin at Culture Map Houston. I'd never heard of this publication before. I found it by looking around Arian Foster's Facebook page. The article covers how the first bit of OTAs are going and how Arian Foster, Keyshawn Martin and others are working very hard to improve.
Never knew about any of this... but newest Texan Hopkins has had an insanely tough life. Great read, can't wait to see this guy in action.
Hotel room that was trashed at the NFL combine was registered to DeAndre Hopkins and Mark Harrison. Does this preclude the Texans from selecting him due to his potential character risk?
Hey all. I've been doing a football blog for a few years now and during the off season, I concentrate on the draft. I attempt to do a comprehensive draft, team by team, on what I would do as the team's GM. Check out what I've done for your team and drop a comment or two on what you think and what you might do differently. If you think it's worth a read, point others to the site that you think may be interested and come back for the other team write-ups. Also, if any of you are interesting in becoming a contributor and creating some posts, please let me know in the comments and we'll see about getting you set up. Thanks for your time and I hope you enjoy it.
Well, the FO is finally addressing our Special Teams coaching with the hiring of Ligashesky. Could this signal the end of Marciano?
