Open Game Day Thread: Houston v. Cincinnati (4th Quarter)
Yes, we're leading by 11, but now is not the time to go into a prevent offense. Finish, Texans. Finish.

Open Game Day Thread: Houston v. Cincinnati (3rd Quarter)
After taking the lead 14-7, your Houston Texans were kind enough to let the Bengals go on a 10-0 run. I need a drink.

3-3 would be a helluva lot more encouraging than 2-4, wouldn't it? Make it happen, Texans.

Open Game Day Thread: Houston v. Arizona
Despite all the twists and turns of the season thus far, your Houston Texans can climb to 3-2 with a win in Arizona today. Before the season started, many observers noted that the Texans should've been 3-1 after their first four games, considering the opponents. Well, considering the fifth opponent is the Cardinals and the game is on the road, I think many of those observers (including yours truly) figured the Texans, had they posted a 3-1 start, would be 3-2 after today's game. In other words, a win today seemingly puts the Texans right back on track to where many of us thought they'd be.
With that in mind, leave your pre-game, in-game, and/or post-game jubilation and humiliation in the Comments below. GO TEXANS!

Open Game Day Thread: Oakland v. Houston
I choose not to think about the possibility that your Houston Texans drop to 1-3 today. I suggest everyone follow my lead, blocking the horrifying inadequacy of the Houston defense thus far out of your mind entirely. Let's think positive. If there ever was a time to get back on track, it's against a team led by a QB who has evinced comparisons to David Carr as a busted first overall draft pick.
Thus, leave your pre-game, in-game, and post-game praise, disgust, and everything in between in the Comments below. GO TEXANS!

Open Game Day Thread: Jacksonville v. Houston
Life got a bit hectic this week, so I didn't get to throw up my usual "Three And Out." Here's an extremely abbreviated version:
1. Matt Schaub: 26-32 for 291 yards, 2 TD, and 1 INT.
2. Antonio Smith gets his first sack as a Texan this afternoon.
3. Your Houston Texans are no longer ranked last against the run come the conclusion of today's game.
PUT YOUR NAME ON IT: Texans 28, Jaguars 20.
On to the purpose of this post...leave your pre-game, in-game, and post-game witticisms, criticisms, and hate mail in the Comments below. GO TEXANS!

Open Game Day Thread: Houston v. Tennessee
First road game of the season, and it's somewhere at which your Houston Texans have not historically fared well. Not the ideal scenario for a team looking to atone for Week One's meltdown, huh? Still...any given Sunday, folks.
Leave your pre-game, in-game, and post-game visions, prayers, and truths in the Comments below. Other threads should be started each quarter or half, so keep an eye out for 'em and move the fun there at the appropriate time. GO TEXANS!
