Open Gameday Thread--New Orleans v. Houston

At approximately 3:30 p.m. CST today, one team will be .500.  The other will be 4-6 (or .400, as it were).  Regardless, everyone will still mock the Texans for not drafting Reggie Bush.  So go the days of our lives.

Leave your pre-game, in-game, and/or post-game rants, thoughts, and love letters to Super Mario in the Comments below.  And GO TEXANS!

Andre Ware just said that, has Jason David not made the team flight, he would have sent a limo to NO to pick him up.

In televised game news
Mike Martz has gone to the sweatshirt look, apparently hoping someone confuses him with Bill B.  How odd to have two movements--the dapper suit and the frumpy pullover--at the same time.

Wow, I felt gay writing that.

by HtownJuggernaut on Nov 18, 2007 1:37 PM CST reply actions   0 recs

I'd rather
Be up 7 than 4... it was a good call.  If the play doesn't happen in the endzone - which is the only place it can go - and I'm fuckin sure Payton know it - the call to go for 3 instead of 6 was the right one.
Shakin 'em off one win at a time...

Texans had the time
for one fade to a corner of an end zone. Either it works, or it goes out of bounds.  Chances of an int are very low on that type of pass, and we had more than enough time.

by HtownJuggernaut on Nov 18, 2007 1:43 PM CST up reply actions   0 recs

you're right.  In the end, I should be happy we at least put up some points.

It's something I have to give Kubiak credit for. All preseason we all thought it was just a matter of time before Jacoby slid into the #2 role, but Kubiak stuck to his guns and it paid off. And, are we going for it here?
