Because A Win Without A Catastrophe Just Isn't Our Style

As anyone who watched today's game at Oakland knew immediately after seeing the replay, Dunta Robinson is done for the year.  The fact that the brass called it a "sprain" is so absurd that it borders on insulting.  Dunta got sawed in half, and the excruciating pain he was in was clearly visible when he went down.

Needless to say, this puts quite a damper on the victory.  Dunta was playing corner as well or better than anyone in the league this season, and his presence was frequently the ONLY good thing about the secondary each week.  I think a damn good argument can be made that he was the single most indispensable player on the entire team, and now he's gone.  Bouncing back from a devastating personnel loss like this is going to require some serious moxie.

Best wishes to Dunta Robinson as he begins the road to recovery.  Rest assured that all of BRB will be cheering you on.

Oh, almost forgot...thanks for nothing, MDC.  Where's your Durga now?

What it takes to win
We had fewer turnovers (although still too many) than Oakland.  All our running backs looked good, and I'll tip my hat to the O line on that. And finally, we played up enough on the recievers that we were able to cause disruptions/turnovers.  Once more an indication that Faggins should be limited time wise as much as is possible.  I tip my hat to the prophet Tim as well.  I didn't think we'd get er done on the road, he did.  Now if we can improve and do that to a quality team after the bye, when some of our bruises heal, that'll be better yet.  And don't worry about Durga, I didn't make it to the Brujo yet...or maybe she was just confused as to which guy, as MDC probably just told her it was the one in the tight pants, and she's not as sports minded as the male god of SS.  Try Thor or Apollo next time Matt!

In other news....
Apparently, the offensive line of the Texans allowed Captain Mittens to be sacked 7 times today.  Damn O-Line.
We can be critical of the draft picks, but in the end we always support the new Texan.

Read Don banks snap judgments
That man will go to the grave believing the Texans O-line ruined Mittens.
Tell me again why I follow sports?

Ask your mom.
She knows where my Durga is.

(I have no idea what that means.)

is that what you call it?
I guess that's as good as Mr Happy, or Herman the German. Just sounds a little more politically radical.  You could just go with Che'.
