Three And Out: Useless Predictions For Sunday's Game
Dare I predict your Houston Texans do something on Sunday afternoon that they've NEVER done before--waltz into the RCA Dome and beat the Colts? You'll have to wait until the end of this post to find that out. And that, my friends, is what the folks in the business call a "tease." It's also what I call 91.2% of the women I've dated, but I digress. RIMSHOT! Without further ado, three (3) things that shall come to pass on Sunday:
- Remember in Week Three when Amobi Okoye sacked Peyton Manning? Despite Amobi struggling with the rookie wall for much of October and November, he's recently shown signs of recapturing his early season form. Thus, it is without any trepidation whatsoever that I proclaim that Amobi Okoye will sack Peyton Manning again on Sunday.
- Indy didn't have to deal with Andre Johnson back in September, and I think it's fair to say that his presence could very well have changed how that fateful day played out. I look for 'Dre to make up for lost time on Sunday by posting eight (8) catches for 121 yards and a TD. In other words, what Santa Claus would do if he was the best wide receiver in the NFL.
- He came damn close to doing it three (3) months ago before getting offed by a punter, and I believe that Jacoby Jones will finally notch his first regular season TD on Sunday. I know, I know...I've called this several times before. But this time's different. It's never been December 20, 2007 before.

Why Houston Just Might Win
- The Colts running game is having problems. The colts are averaging 110 YPG, but rushed for only 58 and 59 yards their last two games. Meanwhile, we've allowed 71 and 72 yards rushing our last two games, and our front seven are clicking on all cylinders.
- The Colts D-line is, well, broken. Having seen the flashes of brilliance that Ron Dayne and Darius Walker have shown, we could really take some pressure off of Sage and run it all over Indy.
- With any luck, Tony Dungy will rest his starters after the 3rd quarter or so. After all, Indy has wrapped up the 2nd seed in the playoffs, so this game and next week's game against Tennessee don't mean anything to them.

Re: Why Houston Just Might Win
Frankly, I would only play my starters for a half if I was Dungy. No point in risking Peyton going down awkwardly and seeing your season go up in smoke. I actually asked BBS of Stampede Blue that question in this week's Pre-Game Recon; I'm anxious to see what he thinks.
