Texans Courting Garcia and Lelie

PrintBRB hero John McClain reports that the Texans have been flirting with QB Jeff Garcia and WR Ashley Lelie. Garcia seems like a perfect fit for Kubes' system - a mobile, veteran QB who is tough and manages a game well. Lelie, on the other hand, seems like a perfect fit, well, in the sense that he's an ex-Bronco. I never thought I'd find myself saying this, but after watching Garcia rally the Eagles this past season, I would be thrilled to have JG as the Texans' QB in 2007. A Garcia-Rosenfels combination at QB would be fantastic until Andre Woodson is ready to take over in 2009 or 2010.

And after doing a bit more research, it seems that the Bucs have also traded for Jake Plummer, for a 'conditional' pick in the 2008 Draft.
This all seems very fishy to me, as it appears that Gruden is reading BRB and stealing our ideas. We may need to beef up the security system.
