Shawn Barber Likes Houston

But does H-Town like Barber enough to pay him?  The veteran LB said all the right things about coming to Houston, and it would appear that his "very high level" of interest bodes well for Rick Smith's recruiting efforts.  Now, perhaps he's guzzling a bit too much of the Kubiak Kool-Aid by branding the Texans a "top 10" defense, but I appreciate his enthusiasm.

That said, we sure are stockpiling linebackers, aren't we?  Going into the offseason, I would have thought LB was one of the very few areas that management might have deemed adequate.  I completely understand creating depth, yet I'm forced to wonder if there are other areas that should be addressed with the money Barber should command.  Like, I don't know, punter?
