Kasey Studdard Is The Newest Texan!
Forgive me my non-partisan ways, but I could not be happier with the acquisition of fellow Horn Kasey Studdard. Having watched Studdard play for the last four years, I can't wait to watch him bring his aggressive and no-nonsense offensive line play to H-Town. He'll be a fine addition to the offensive line, and scouts seem to think he may be best suited for center in the NFL. Mike Flanagan and Steve McKinney are not getting any younger, so an iflux of youth at that position is a smart call.
I'm absolutely giddy right now.

STUD
The guy is an absolute work-horse, who got very little credit/attention for the Longhorns' success over the past 4 years.
After the fizzle that was Sloan Thomas, I am thrilled to have a Horn of this caliber to root for on the home team.
Viva Studdard!
Yes
I really think the Texans should focus on adding local talent to the team. In light of the Vince Young debacle, Smith and Kubiak should attract players from UT, A&M, Tech, UH, and Rice, because of the local interest that it generates. This comes with the obvious caveat that the players are talented enough to play for the Texans.
The Texans should be made of Texans.
Cult Hero
I can hear it already..."Jacoby Jones drops another perfectly thrown ball from Matt Schaub. Man, that's unfortunate for the Texans! Maybe they should give that Studdard kid a shot and see what happens."
