Zach Thomas?

Apparently Smithiak wants to bring him in for a visit.  I'm not sure why we'd be interested in him, other than to provide some veteran leadership and teach the young guys a thing or two.

Re: Zach Thomas
He's definitely worth a recruiting pitch for the reasons you mentioned, though everything I've read said he's either headed to New England or Dallas.
Looking forward to a day when being a Texans fan doesn't mean that April is the highlight of my season...

And why not?
He's only got a couple of years left, and that's being generous.  Those teams would give him a good shot at winning a Super Bowl.

Gravy train
Yeah - he's been on enough losers in Miami.  He wants to win and win now.  I think being a Texas boy and a Texas Tech alum, gives Dallas an edge.  Just my personal opinion... unless really wants to stay in the AFC East and play against the Fins twice a year.  I think that would be more of a greener grass scenario.

In other words, my money is on Dallas - but he is cocky enough to land in NE.

Re: Gravy train
Although, New England seems to be the place where washed up linebackers go to revive their careers.

That's true
Junior Seau wouldn't disagree...
