BREAKING NEWS: Texans Sign Jacques Reeves
As you might imagine, I have mixed feelings about this. But this is no time to worry or stew; as I do every time I question a move, I quote the sig line of the notorious Shake:
Of course, this isn't a draft pick, but the same logic applies. Here's to Jacques Reeves becoming a lockdown corner for your Houston Texans.

Petey Faggins 2.0!
Best wishes on a speedy recovery for Dunta because the thought that Jacques Reeves could be the Texans starting CB should give every Texans fan nightmares.

Ghost of Petey Faggins
Far be it from an outside observer to accuse Tim of being a man who has resigned himself to towing the company line (and bowing before all things Smithiak), but as a person who has suffered serious pain watching Reeves play ... I can honestly say that signing Reeves (especially if he assumes a starting role) should raise a few eyebrows.
Good luck boys and girls - I hope the Reeves experiment works out better for the Texans than it did for my beloved Cowboys!

Hm.
However, I'm pretty upset we lost Hutchins. He wasn't great, but he signed with Atlanta for peanuts, and he was versatile. I wonder why he wanted to get away from the Texans so bad? His contract with ATL is so cheap, I can't imagine we couldn't do better, especially with how desperate we are for DBs right now.

Jacques
- How do you pronounce his first name? Jacks? Jackees? He obviously needs a nick name.
- He was smart enough to leave that southern Oklahoma town of Dallas, so that makes him smarter than Romo. We're not gettin a total idiot.
4:If this attracts more damn cryboy fans to this site, then it wasn't worth the money.

re: Easy Nickname
Plus, if he ends up blowing Matt's theory about anyone being better than Petey, then it leads to the "Who shot JR?" analogies.

And now for the low-brow stuff...
I mean, he's got to be better in coverage than his cousin Christopher.
