Every Pick Of The 2008 NFL Draft...Explained!

Fervent fans of your Houston Texans know where each of Houston's picks are in the upcoming April draft.  But who among you knows that Chicago acquired Carolina's fifth-round selection this year in exchange for parting with Chris Harris?  Anyone raising their hand right now is lying.  Or has waaaaaaayyyyy too much time on his/her hands.  And that's coming from someone who maintains a blog on the Houston Texans.

Our friends over at Mile High Report have put together what is quite simply the most detailed, painstaking chart of the picks comprising the 2008 NFL Draft that these eyes have ever seen.  I urge everyone to check it out, if for nothing else than to see why I really, really need a co-blogger.

Dude
I'll be your co-blogger :D

Drink a Zima
or three.  Problem solved.

In all honesty, that's the second time that I've seen something that dizzying from styg50 at MHR.  My money is on him being an accountant or a librarian... or the real life Raymond Babbitt.

To DE or not to DE... that is the question.

We Have Beaten Them Where it Is Important...
...on the field last year!

In any case, cynicism, sarcasm, and wit beat OCD-based analysis every day of the week.

Follow the link in the post for the compensatory
picks if you really want to be astounded.  That guy needs to be hired by an NFL team ASAP.

NFL Hire
No argument there bro.

If you need a letter of reference, I'll be glad to type something up about how your articles caused me a mild brain hemorrhage.

To DE or not to DE... that is the question.

Ow
My face hurts after looking at that chart.  Unless I was getting paid to do this stuff, I could never take it that far.

Unlike Kubiak and Smith...
Styg is staying right where he is at!!!  :)

Dude does an incredible job over at the MHR and I keep him under lock and key 23 hours a day!

For the other hour each day...
Is there a grand entrance, with someone yelling "Bring out the gimp!"?

Very funny
you should see the email I just sent Guru, where I come clean about how wearing the gimp suit makes me "feel funny in a bad way".  To Tim, in your search for a co-blogger please refrain from this type of behavior.  It is psychologically distressing, never knowing when I get to come out of the box or see sunlight, the constant lashing...

The nipple clamps are a plus, though...

I just think it's nice...
...that the ball-gag doesn't hinder your typing at all.

Yep
But I have yet to see anyone not back down.....not once you get in their face and bite your teeth together real hard.

You Guys Are Nuts
Top Gun rules.  If there's a better character in the annals of film than Sundown, I'd like to hear who it is.
Looking forward to a day when being a Texans fan doesn't mean that April is the highlight of my season...

Without Ice, Viper, Goose, & Maverick
I'm fairly certain that the term wingman would not have become what we know today.  Seriously, without Top Gun, your buddy would still be called "the guy who's going to do everything he can to distract her less-than-average-looking friend long enough that I can convince her that we need to leave the bar together without her friend pestering her that they came together so they have to leave together or reminding her of how bad it turned out the last time she left the bar with a strange guy".

See, wingman is much easier to use and sounds more dignified.
