This guy is sort of a monster, and he's coming off of a pretty good senior year. Five sacks isn't half bad for a guy who's job is really to stuff the run and eat up blockers. At the very least, maybe he'll motivate TJ to get his shit together.

I'm psyched about the pick but...

that's supposed to be his knock. According to the NFL profile, scouts question his hunger for football. NFL.com: "His only knock is that he does not always seem to care about playing football and lacks passion."

The dude's smart though. I remember hearing about him taking the LSAT not too long ago. Smart AND built for the position? So long as Kubiak and Rhodes find a way to get him hungry, we'll have locked up a solid defensive line for the next five years. Plus he's a Longhorn. And I'm a homer. So GREAT 5th round pick.
