Hey, someone who is not a WR mocked to your Houston Texans. How would this pick grab you if it came to pass on Thursday night?
I sat down with Sean Tomlinson over at The Score to discuss what the Texans might do at No. 26. (What's that, Tim? You need what to go in the post field? Oh, okay.) Mock, Mock, Mock, Mock, Mock, Mock, Mock, Mock, Mock, Mock. P.S. Garrett Mock
I post this chiefly for you to compare it against the SB Nation NFL Writers' Mock Draft that is going on over at MTD right now. We've turned the Texans' pick in, and it should be published later this week.
Click here for LZ's explanation of why he mocked who he mocked to your Houston Texans in the first round.
Yes, it was created before today's Peyrevelation, but it's a new mock draft. Dissect away.
I know he had a less than stellar Combine, but I still cannot see this guy being there for the Texans at No. 26.
A post-Combine, special Leap Day edition of the latest SBN Mock Draft, and once again, there's a new name projected to your Houston Texans at No. 26.
Is there anyone out there who would be happy with this pick at the moment?
When you read the Texans' pick here, remember who the first guy to trumpet this player as a legitimate possibility for Houston was.
While the approaching NFL Combine will likely result in changes to several draft boards, I'm sure a sizable portion of the Houston fan base would be just fine with things shaking out like this on April 26th.
