I know many of us are sick of talking about the Cushing suspension, but regardless of your feelings, I think this is a fair question.
Preach on, Rivers. Preach on.
Money lines: "He had a pre-existing medical condition (involving an enlarged pituitary gland) that was consistent with the natural production of hCG in males," Steinberg said. "They came out in the hearing, and they were documented. "We learned that he had a particular medical condition that was consistent with natural production in the body of this banned substance. I'll give you three guesses as to what the topic is. First two guesses don't count.
Per Pancakes, the Texans have signed Danny Clark, who had a stint in Houston in 2007. Decent depth signing and I always thought he was underrated in his time here. Should help Bush cover up the Cushing mess if he hasn't lost a step.
Yes, I'd say a failed substance test qualifies as an "issue." Update: Cushing passed a lie detector test, according to Adam Schefter.
More on this later, but this seemed like the natural shoe to drop once it was reported that Cushing tested positive in September.
No word yet on who the replacement will be. Safe to say it probably won't be Morlon Greenwood, MDC's write-in campaign be damned.
Have some fun, Texans-style, as Brian Cushing and Matt Schaub are wired against the Seahawks.
