#Texans coach Gary Kubiak says there's a good chance that Jacoby Jones will get some reps at kick returner. Jones already returns punts— Nick Scurfield (@NickScurfield) October 28, 2010
After today's practice, Coach Gary Kubiak said that WR/PR Jacoby Jones has a good chance to see reps as a kick returner this Monday. Whether it's all the reps or some is unknown, but there's now a chance the Texans could start a drive at the 20 following a kickoff.
WR Jacoby Jones (calf) practiced today and is expected to play on Sunday vs KC— Nick Scurfield (@NickScurfield) October 15, 2010
If you were worried about David Anderson returning punts or the overall depth of the wide receiver corps, then you'll find this to be good news.
Per Nick Scurfield, Jacoby Jones is expected to return Sunday against the Chiefs. Jones missed last week's disaster and had not practiced Wednesday or Thursday due to a calf injury.
We would be set if Gary Kubiak would
smarten up and have him return kickoffs.
