The Good News And The Bad News

A mixed bag of sorts today in Texans news, I suppose.  The good news is that the team signed QB Craig Nall today, which is likely a good sign that they won't force Matt Schaub out onto the field on Sunday at Oakland.  The bad news, of course, is that our franchise QB is sidelined with a concussion, and the earliest he'll return is in two weeks to play New Orleans.  Some, including me, would argue that all of this could and should have been prevented by simply giving The Schaub the day off in San Diego.  But we're getting dangerously close to beating the skin right off that horse's corpse, so  I digress.

In other roster news, the team waived The Pride of Tuskegee, WR Harry Williams, to make room for Nall, and another move is expected so OT Brandon Frye can be elevated to the active roster.  Keep your "rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic" quips to yourselves.
