Thanks For The Memories, Shantee

Buried in the Chronicle's notes on the Texans, we learn that LB and longtime Texan Shantee Orr was released on Wednesday.  As fans will remember, Orr was a big contributor on the Houston defense in the second through fourth years of the franchise, only to see his contributions and playing time dwindle the past two (2) seasons.  He always seemed like the consummate overachiever, which is to say that he might not have been the fastest or most skilled linebacker around, but that he always seemed to play every snap like it was his last.  Guys like that are few and far between, so I'm sad to see him go.  Here's hoping he catches on with another team.  Best of luck, Shantee.
