After a one week hiatus, Three And Out is back! I know everyone was lost as to what they should wager on last week, so I've returned to guarantee (read: not guarantee in any way, shape, or form) three (3) things that are sure to happen at Reliant tonight when the Broncos and Texans take the field:
- Ephraim Salaam is going to have another tough game. A few days ago, it was Greg Smith. Tonight, it's going to be Elvis Dumervil. Dumervil is precisely the kind of quick DE that gives Salaam problems, and I think we're all going to be moving left tackle up the ol' draft priorities list (if it's not already No. 1) after tonight. Ugh.
- The New Ed McCaffrey (a/k/a Kevin Walter) is going to teach non-Houston fans his name tonight. All of the attention will be squarely on 'Dre, which will allow K-Dub to flourish. I'm going to call seven (7) catches for 89 yards and a TD.
- The mad dash to pull a 180 on the "Mario Williams Was The Most Colossal Bust In All Of Sport" debate will continue after tonight's game. Look for the most underrated DE in the league to continue his development at the position in the form of two (2) QB hurries and another sack.
