PFT--Texans Sign Danny Clark

In its "Rumor Mill" (a must-read every day, by the way), Pro Football Talk is reporting that the Texans have agreed to terms with Danny Clark and speculates that the deal should be worth about $8,000,000.00.  My favorite part of the story is the line that "[m]ost casual fans likely haven't heard of him."  Ain't that the truth.

Anyway, this would appear to be another nice move by the Smithiak regime.  As discussed in the post below, Houston either acquired a starting linebacker or a strong rotation player.  Considering the paltry talent level of the squad overall, adding talent in any form should be applauded.
