There are some rumors floating around that the Texans won't take Leodis McKelvin or Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie or any other cornerback at 18. If that's the case, who else could they be looking at build the secondary? The names Reggie Corner (Akron) and Antwuan Molden (East Kentucky) have come up.
Reggie Corner
He's an undersized hard-hitting physical corner. He's not quite the physical specimen that Dunta Robinson is, but he's in the same mold. He's been the non-BCS Defensive Player of the Year and on the All-MAC team. He's had a solid career at Akron. He changed positions from wide receiver to corner. He became a starter as a junior and a leader on the Zips defense. He gave some good sound bites in his interview.
