For the first time in Texans franchise history, Chester Pitts will not take the field next Sunday. Pitts suffered a strained medial collateral ligament against the Titans in the first half of todays 34-31 Houston victory.
He is now listed to be out three to four weeks, but thinks he will be back sooner than that. "I have Wolverine blood in me, so I’ll heal faster than that," Pitts joked with the media. "I’d trade my knee for a win like this any day," he added.
The injury brings his consecutive games played streak to a halt at 114. Let’s wish him a speedy recovery.
