Somehow, I can't think of a better sponsor for a Texans blog than Absolut. Together with Captain Morgan, we are two-thirds of the way to a fair representation of things Texans fans will be chugging before, during, and after the game. Clorox, we're waiting!

The big news on the injury forefront this week was, of course, Matt Schaub's visit to the hospital so they could play around with his bursa sac and magically heal whatever was wrong with it without the Texans actually acknowledging that something was wrong with it. He should play and start, so I'd tell you to start him with confidence if you had him in a fantasy league...right up until I realized we were playing the Jets

In other injury news, it looks like Xavier Adibi will be healthy enough to conceivably take the field this week after practicing all three days. Which, like everything else about the Texans defense, should boost the chances of Jets' underneath receivers catching the ball easily and making a big gain out of it.  Owen Daniels was ruled out again on Friday, which should change...nothing about this offense. Jesse Nading was also held out, presumably to work on his cover technique in zone blitzes. Zac Diles was listed as questionable on Friday with an illness, so he probably watched himself play football at some point. He's preemptively been ruled out according to McClain.

Update 10:43 AM: Here are your inactives via SB Nation Houston. Adibi is active, but Darryl Sharpton will start for the Texans. Dorin Dickerson is a surprise inactive.

Pease keep in mind to mix your acids and bases well--don't overdo it on the Absolut, Captain, or Clorox. Try to keep it well balanced. If you're a Texans fan, you should probably already know better than to operate machinery under the influence, specifically on days when you're already likely to feel terrible about yourself for pulling for the Texans. Like today!
