Lost in all the hoopla over the Texans' 4-0 start was the news that a handful of players were injured to varying degrees in the effort yesterday Gary Kubiak updated the media on each affected player in his press conference this afternoon. To summarize this article, here's what we know:

-Quintin Demps broke his left forearm and had surgery today. Kubes didn't give a specific amount of time that Demps would miss but did say the injury was not a season-ender. The Texans are expected to sign a safety to take Demps' spot on the roster. That signee may or may not be current practice squadder and preseason favorite Eddie Pleasant.

-Shiloh Keo hurt his shoulder yesterday but is expected to be available for the game against the Jets next Monday night.

-Antoine Caldwell suffered a sprained ankle and is considered day-to-day. Ben Jones, who was already rotating in at RG with Caldwell, would seemingly get the lion's share, if not all, of the snaps if Caldwell can't go next week.
