The wait today to watch your Houston Texans play the Packers on Sunday Night Football this evening is going to be a killer. Time will pass a bit quicker once the noon games start, but we'll still be watching the clock all day and cursing that 7:20 p.m. CDT isn't here yet. As cursing and BRB go together like peas and carrots, share your solutions for time travel and/or thoughts on the Texans in the Comments below.
In terms of scheduling today, we'll have a thread up for the early (12 p.m. CDT) games, another thread for the late (3:25 p.m. CDT) afternoon games, and then the first official Texans-Packers SNF thread will post at 7 p.m. CDT. To the extent possible, please try to keep the Texans chatter here until kickoff; use the afternoon's game threads to talk about the other NFL games being played.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to continue banging my head against the wall in the hope that I'll forget yesterday's abomination in Dallas ever happened. With a little luck, a few bouts of unconsciousness will fortuitously give me a wicked case of amnesia while reducing the amount of waking hours I have to waste until the Texans kick off tonight.
