Happy Thanksgiving. I hope the day finds you well.
Me, I'm typing this the night before...well, I guess technically the morning of...Thanksgiving. I spent my evening at a visionary's house. That visionary is my buddy Jay. He is a visionary because several years ago, he declared the day before Thanksgiving would forever be known as "Thanksdrinking," and he's hosted a theme party (newly married, his wife is now officially the hostess of the event) on the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving ever since. While I have little doubt I'll regret the amount of Shiner Bock I consumed earlier this evening in a few hours, tonight/this morning I declare it to be a sound decision.
By the time you read this, I'll be shaking off the cobwebs and rallying for a day of family, turkey, whiskey, beer, Texans, and Longhorns. The fifth component of that equation arrives promptly at 11:30 a.m. CST, and I hereby invite you to pass the time until kickoff in this thread. Fill us all in on your Thanksgiving and/or Texans hopes, fears, and harsh realities.
