Colts 28, Texans 16: Post-Game Open Thread

The Colts did not have any playoff positioning to play for today. The Texans had crucial playoff positioning to play for today. Guess who won?

Sometimes, there are no words.

Congratulations to the Colts on going from 2-14 to 11-5.

The Houston Texans managed to go from 11-1 to 12-4. Depending on how the Broncos and Patriots do in games they should win, the Texans have in all likelihood blown both the homefield advantage and a first-round bye. They have looked completely unprepared, totally listless, and generally awful for the better part of a month (at least). They have managed to destroy any optimism their fan base once had, and they've surely murdered any momentum they could have had entering the postseason.

Despite being a 12-4 team, it is entirely reasonable to question whether this squad is capable of doing anything in the postseason. Really, it's fair to question everything.

This is your final postgame thread of the 2012 regular season. Like the Texans, I wish it was a better one.
