Checking The Pulse: Post-Draft, How Do You Feel About Wide Receiver?

While there could still be a veteran addition or two, it's fair to say that what you've got at WR for your Houston Texans right now is probably pretty close to what you'll see once the regular season opens. Now that DeVier Posey, Keshawn Martin, and Dwight Jones are in the fold, and Jacoby Jones has been advised to seek other means of employment, how are you feeling about the Texans at wide receiver?

Personally, I think it's a very strong group. Posey is the biggest question mark in the crew to me. Martin has a chance to contribute immediately in the return game and in the slot. Dwight Jones intrigues me far more than he should, considering every team decided they didn't want him on their team despite his evident talent. Andre Johnson is still Andre Johnson (even if he isn't ANDRE JOHNSON), and you know what you're getting from Kevin Walter each week. Some are high on Lestar Jean; I'm not one of those people, but I understand the sentiment.

Overall, I'd say we're looking at a group that has a chance to be in the top quarter in the NFL. What say you?
