Tickets to the six (6) open sessions of 2012 Texans training camp supposedly became available at 8 a.m. CDT this morning. I say "supposedly" because despite entering the queue via the official site at 7:54 a.m. and being told I was "in line" due to the excessive traffic on the site, I never had the opportunity to snag any tickets.
Undeterred, I opened another window so I might conceivably have another bite at the apple if the first attempt didn't work out. No dice. After waiting for about ten minutes (which I knew was a bad omen), I got an error message from Ticketmaster. I tried again a couple of times and got the same error message.
Now, if I was just slow on the draw (despite being "in line" before the tickets officially became available at 8 a.m.) and the Texans ran out of tickets, so be it. As a wise man once said, that's on me. But if there was a widespread problem where fans simply couldn't get through? That's on the Texans.
Tell me, BRB...did you get your tickets to Texans training camp?
