Our year-long national nightmare is over. A major cable provider finally picked up the Longhorn Network, so you won't have to miss your beloved Texas Longhorns opening their 2012 season against Wyoming at 7 p.m. CDT tonight if you, a loved one, a friend, or a hobo that has an honest face has Uverse. Huzzah!

What's that? There are other college football games being played today and tonight? I had no idea. Well, I guess you can use this open thread to talk about those games, too. I'm feeling charitable.
