Monday Night Football Open Thread: Seahawks v. Rams

Let's conclude this Texans-less week of football with a bang...that will undoubtedly bounce off the walls of Edward Jones Stadium as the St. Louis Rams take on the Seattle Seahawks.

The Rams lobbied heavily to get a Monday night game this season, their first MNF game since 2006. So the NFL, in their infinite wisdom decided to give them the one MNF game that would occur during the World Series.

Now, nobody could have guessed the Cardinals would be in the world series this year, and that the MNF game would be in the same city as the game that's being played, but I can't help enjoying the irony of it all.

Add to that a backup quarterback, and a team that's more than likely just treading water, and it's going to make for a very somber home game for the Rams.

In fact, it's probably going to be dead silent in there. So to make up for the Silence of the Rams, make your own noise here instead. Granted it'll all be internet noise, but they'll need noise if they're going to stand a chance in tonight's game.

Enjoy the game!
