It's official. Case Keenum will remain the starting quarterback for the Houston Texans when the Colts come to town for Sunday Night Football.
"Case will start this week." Kubiak says. #Texans

This was really the only logical decision for Gary Kubiak to make given Case Keenum's performance against the Chiefs and Matt Schaub's injury. Curiously, Kubes denied that Schaub's injury played a role in his decision.
"Matt's health is fine. It's a decision based on what I saw take place last week with Case." Kubiak on QB decision. #Texans

I'm not sure how much I believe that; if Matt Schaub hadn't gotten hurt in the Rams game, does anyone think Kubiak really would have benched him against the Chiefs?
In any event, this is the right call whether Schaub is too injured to play or not. Keenum earned another start with his play in Kansas City. Now we'll see how he fares under the bright lights of Sunday Night Football at Reliant Stadium.
