Normally, the panicked texts, e-mails, and tweets I receive on a Friday night don't involve Matt Schaub. Tonight was special.
The Twitter account @TexansVoice belonging to Marc Vandermeer, the Texans’ director of broadcasting, was hacked about 8:10 p.m. Friday with the message, "Texans have traded QB Matt Schaub to Cleveland Browns for WR Josh Gordon and a 3rd round pick in 2014 NFL Draft."
The tweet has since been deleted, and Marc Vandermeer now says:
I've been hacked. No trade. Sorry for the craziness

Surely no Texans fan actually believed the Texans traded their starting QB before a pivotal Week Five primetime matchup. For a third round pick and Josh Gordon? Please.
Everyone knows a package of a third round pick and Josh Gordon commands J.J. Watt and Andre Johnson at an absolute minimum. The Browns are nobody's fool.
