The fallout from last night's disaster by The Bay continues...
Head coach Gary Kubiak said Daniels was hurt late in the Sunday night loss at San Francisco, and didn't initially know whether or not the injury would cause his Pro Bowl tight end to miss any playing time.
"Owen Daniels has the fibula that we're getting checked out this afternoon," Kubiak said. "They're doing an MRI on it today. He got hit on one of the last balls he caught."
Kubiak also said Daniels was "real sore today" and that the team's medical training staff was "checking him out."
I suppose I could stay positive and note that Garrett Graham and Ryan Griffin provide excellent depth at TE in the event Daniels has to miss any time. I'm not much in the mood for staying positive, so I'll just end this post by hoping for the best for OD.
