Football fans around the world gasped when Gary Kubiak collapsed at halftime of the Texans' game against the Colts a little more than a week ago. The following day, reports surfaced that Kubiak had suffered a mini-stroke. Kubiak was discharged from the hospital last Tuesday, two days after his collapse, and he showed up at Texans' practice last Thursday. Although Kubiak missed his team's loss in Arizona yesterday, Mark Berman reports that Gary Kubiak is back at Reliant Park this morning and is expected to be on the sidelines as the Texans' head coach when the Raiders come to town on Sunday:
Texans head coach Gary Kubiak is in the office and working a half day. His first day back at work since suffering the mini-stroke.

Gary Kubiak will coach the Texans Sunday against the Raiders.

Regardless of how you feel about the ongoing horror that is the Texans' 2013 campaign, it'll be great to see Kubes back on the sidelines on Sunday. I have no doubt the crowd at Reliant Stadium will give him a warm welcome back.
