Think of it this way: the last time we lost a game at home against the Oakland Raiders, it all ended on a Matt Schaub interception in the end zone.
This time, the defensive back dropped it.
There is no need to go any further here. Everyone saw what happened. Everyone saw the exchange between Schaub and Andre Johnson on the sideline at the end of the game. The image of Johnson walking into the locker room, alone, his head down as the boos rained on Reliant, is perhaps the saddest moment of the 2013 season.
So now, to the comments. Why was Case Keenum benched? And how little swaggg was displayed by D.J. Swearinger when he tried to shoulder tackle that large man whose touchdown made the difference? And is Joe Marciano all of a sudden looking like an ideal alternative to Gary Kubiak?
The tank, as they say, is on.
