Case Keenum of Houston Texans will start Sunday, despite benching
A day after benching him late in the third quarter of a 28-23 loss to the Oakland Raiders, coach Gary Kubiak said Case Keenum will start once again when the struggling Houston Texans host the one-win Jaguars on Sunday.

As frustrations mount, Texans’ Kubiak says he’s not losing team
Former Texans safety Ed Reed and running back Ben Tate publicly criticized recent coaching decisions. Veteran wide receiver Andre Johnson has shown clear on-field and sideline frustration at least three times this year, including a much-discussed verbal blowup Sunday with quarterback Matt Schaub.

Texans’ offensive struggles not helping Keenum’s development
Second-year quarterback Case Keenum has produced some of the team’s most thrilling plays this season during just four starts. But he’s also consistently failed to produce during the second halves of games, while his team has gone 0-4 since he took over for Matt Schaub.
