Much like the plot of Dr. Strangelove, the Texans find themselves on the brink of oblivion. This explosive end comes at the hands of a mad man that just wants to watch the world burn. Gary Kubiak is that man gone too far; he returned to Matt Schaub in the name of "adjustments" last week, forsaking the play of Case Keenum these past few weeks. But unlike Dr. Stranglove, Kubiak is both the executive officer that snaps to start the chain reaction toward nuclear winter and the man riding the bomb.
Somewhere deep in the bowels of Reliant Stadium, Bob McNair has assembled his small consul in the "War Room". On one side Rick Smith, the general manager that was brought in during Kubiak's reign; on the other are minority owners looking for a way to pull the plug on Kubiak. As the two groups squabble for control of the Texans, Kubiak moves closer to blowing everything to smithereens and going full 2011 Colts on us. Will he spend the next six games solidifying Houston's draft position for the new coaching staff or will he and his team snap out of it and beat the Jags?
