Texans’ Smith, Schaub miss practice for personal reasons
The Texans put in an abbreviated work day Thursday in order to give the players the afternoon to spend with their families. Defensive end Antonio Smith and quarterback Matt Schaub were both given excused absences to deal with personal matters but were expected to return to work Friday.
